  • Sessions are 50 minutes and cost $125 per session.

  • No, I do not accept insurance. Each month you will receive a superbill as a receipt for your sessions. Many clients choose to submit this to their insurance company for reimbursement of out-of-network services. I would recommend checking with your insurance company to see if you have any out of network benefits that are available to you.

During our time together, we will get to know each other and I will get some general information from you. • My belief is that counseling is most effective when parents and the counselor work together to support the child. The initial session is specifically for parents only. This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other, share important information, and set clear goals for the counseling process. While working with your child, I will share progress about how your child is doing and strategies to help them at home, however the specific content and details of our sessions will remain confidential, except in cases where there are safety concerns.

  • Each person and situation is unique. Your budget, your schedule availability, and your current capacity are all factors to consider. This is typically something we discuss at the first session. Clients often come more frequently at the beginning and then space out appointments as they reach their goals. Some clients come every week while others only come every few months.

  • I take all major credit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards. All clients are required to keep a card on file on the HIPAA-compliant client portal.

  • Once you decide you want to schedule an appointment, I will email you a link to the client portal. Using this link, you will be able to complete the necessary paperwork and request an appointment that works for your schedule. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you can do it at any time in your client portal.

  • Progress looks different for everyone, but there are some key things that help increase your growth. Active participation in the process is important in this journey. Being honest and vulnerable with yourself and your therapist also helps improve counseling outcomes. For some clients, homework in between sessions may be appropriate, but together we will discuss your specific needs.
